Professor Christopher F Bladin

Professor Bladin is Director of Eastern Melbourne Neurosciences, Head of the Eastern Clinical Research Unit, Director Department of Neurosciences Box Hill Hospital, Monash University Department of Medicine and Co-Chair of the Australasian Stroke Trials Network.
After completing specialist training in Australia Chris took up appointments at Guy’s Hospital in London and then William Harvey Hospital in Kent, the UK. These were followed by a Clinical Stroke Research Fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto Canada before returning to Melbourne, Australia.
Professor Bladin is an active clinical investigator with a primary interest in stroke. He has conducted clinical trials in a number of other areas including post herpetic neuralgia, migraine, and Parkinson’s disease.
