Dr Victor Fung
MB BS (Hons) PhD FRACP

Dr Victor Fung is a neurologist with a clinical and research interest in movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, dystonia and tremor. Since 1999, he has been a Staff Specialist and Director of the Movement Disorders Unit in the Department of Neurology, Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia.

He is the current Chair of the Movement Disorders Clinical Research and Trials Group, Movement Disorder Society of Australia. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of Parkinson’s Australia, Parkinson’s NSW, and Dystonia Australia.

His particular research interests include the clinical phenomenology and physiology of movement disorders, the interface between mind and movement as well as the behavioural neurology of movement disorders, clinical therapeutic trials and neuroimaging in movement disorders.
