The Australasian Consortium of Centres for Clinical Cognitive Research (AC4R) is a research body, officially formed in 1999 to bring together all centres throughout Australasia involved in treatment studies for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. At the start of 2006, AC4R membership has grown to 80 and covers a wide range of specialties including geriatric medicine, neurology, psychiatry, psychopharmacology, psychogeriatrics, neurobiology, and neuropathology.
